Comfortable seated desk height roughly tracks with your seated elbow height — tall enough that your forearms rest level while typing, without hunching your shoulders. We use a standard ergonomic sizing chart, and pair it with a chair seat height set to keep your feet flat and knees at about a right angle.
28-30 in is a common "one size fits most" desk height, but if you're notably shorter or taller than average, a height tailored to your own measurements — like the one above — is more comfortable.
Adjust the chair first to get your feet flat and knees near 90°, then use a footrest if your desk is too tall to also let your arms rest comfortably at that chair height.
